The Macedon Wine Room is the vision of Steven Gerdes - owner, chef and a local amongst the Macedon Ranges since 2002.
Inspired by The Dogs Bar, St Kilda where Steve worked with Donlevy Fitzpatrick in the late 1990's.
Steve's 30 + years in Melbourne's food and wine industry have helped him shape his passion for simple flavours created from excellent produce, accompanied of course by a great glass of wine and a spectacular view.
The Macedon Wine Room has received an award for their wine list from The Gourmet Traveller in both 2015 and 2016.
